I just bought my daughter and I the family pass at the Segerstrom Center of Arts to see 5 family plays. Segerstrom is located right by south coast plaza off of Anton and Bristol so it’s close to home and gives us broadway without going into LA. The Family pass is amazingly affordable and almost equivalent to seeing a movie! The pass cost me $80.00 per person so if you divide that between the 5 plays it’s about $16.00 p.p each play. I am so glad my friend Andee shared this with me because I had no idea it was that affordable to be a season ticket holder. You can also choose the day and time that works best for you! We are going on Sunday afternoons at 3:30pm and here is the line up:1. Doktor Kaboom 09/16/2018 3:30 PM
This is said to be really funny, lots of laughs, and silly science for all ages to enjoy.
2. Lucky Diaz 10/7/18 3:30 PM
This is a really fun indie rock band for families and kids and they also won a grammy so they must be good! The show is said to be full of music and dancing from your seats!
3. Shadow Play 11/18/2018 3:30 PM
The shadow play is playful and fun and uses amazing special effects as it tells the story of what happens when your shadow goes to sleep!
4. The Very Hungry Caterpillar 02/03/2019 3:30 PM
We all know and love this childhood story, and how fun to see it come to life on stage.
5. Emily Brown 03/31/2019 3:30 PM
Coming from the popular children’s books “Emily Brown and.. ” I believe there are 3 or 4 different books. This play is about Emily Brown and her old grey rabbit. Such a sweet story and i think it will be amazing to see it come to life!
You can book your season pass HERE and just make sure you scroll down to select the family pass. You also get to choose your seats and i would buy these sooner than later because all the good ones sell out fast!
My daughter has actually never been to a play so i’m super excited to take her just the two of us, and get dressed up and go out to dinner afterwards. This is the perfect mom and daughter date! <3
