Beat the heat this summer and get outside to enjoy the best splash pads in Orange County! Kids love splash pads and it creates hours of endless fun! Mom’s also love them because we can sit back and relax while the kids play! (plus, its even good for the little ones that can’t swim yet)
Also, Orange County splash pads are hard to find and they really should make more of these right?! I have hunted for all of my favorites in decent areas that we actually like to go to! So below you will find a list of the best splash pads in Orange County.
1. Heritage Park, Irvine
2. Buccaneers Cove at Boomers, Irvine
Make sure the weather is HOT because it gets a little chilly in here with all of he water and shade. I prefer to come on days that are 85 +. I also suggest arriving 10 min prior to opening if you want to get a lounge chair. My two year old wouldn’t let me sit down so I didn’t actually need a chair, but this summer I might catch a break and be able to relax while they play!

3. Irvine Spectrum, Irvine
This is not designated a splash pad however, we use it as one all of the time as do all of the other mamas! Our favorite one is right by the big green play area. See photo above as reference. Bring your kids in bathing suits and a change of clothes! The bathroom is right around the corner and they are SO nice! You can relax and have a coffee at BLK and your kids will have a great time splashing.
4. Orange County Fair
Inside the fair, near the white tented shopping pavilions is big splash pad area the kids can play in! Just make sure you plan ahead for this and bring a change of clothes and towel etc. The 2019 Fair will be open this year from Friday, Jul 12, 2019 – Sun, Aug 11, 2019
