25 date ideas in Orange County that you can do this weekend! From the hottest dinner spots, sexy cocktails, casual breakfast spots and even some unique ideas that don’t cost money. This list will inspire you to live your best life with your partner and maybe spice things up while your at it 🙂
1. Take a hike along the coast in Laguna
There is Free parking at Heisler park, and along the streets. Start here and walk along the cliffs south towards Las Brisas. This pathway along the Laguna shoreline is breathtaking and magical. The fresh ocean air, warm breezes and jumping dolphins among an almost fake looking backdrop are just a few things you will experience along your walk. Finish at Las Brisas for a cocktail and then watch the sunset at lookout point.

The speak easy bar at CDM restaurant is small, intimate and plays an amazing array of music that is sexy yet fun. It probably doesn’t hold more than 20 people so make sure you arrive early to ensure a spot. They also serve light appetizers and you can make a reservation at the restaurant upstairs for before or after your cocktails.
While there are several places to rent bikes, Newport Cruisers is my favorite! Located a few steps from the bike path and Newport pier on the corner of Balboa & 23rd. They offer low rates with group and weekly discounts. The bikes are high quality, consistently maintained, and they add new ones to the fleet to ensure safe riding conditions. Baskets, locks, helmets & maps all included.Â

SoulCycle is way more than a workout, it’s a sanctuary. A safe space to ride through whatever you’re facing, celebrate your accomplishments, and sweat it all out on the bike. Emerge feeling stronger, like the best version of yourself-because moving your body changes your soul. This was one of my favorite dates with my husband and we went to the Fashion Island studio followed by lunch. Make sure you reserve your bikes before hand so you can sit together!

This date is completely free and just as amazing. Park in the neighborhood streets at the furthest end of the balboa peninsula to reach “the wedge” a famous surf spot with large waves and an array of talented surfers. Pack a picnic and enjoy the surf from dawn to dusk!Â
You can now book online a Fire Pit Package to enjoy BBQ-ing, S’mores or just a nice warm Fire at Crystal Cove Beach. You reserve it online and they do all of the work and set up for you!

Wine Country Trattoria serves amazing food and wine and finish the evening by enjoying some rides and a firework show! Park tickets are required to enter. Advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made—online or by phone—up to 60 days prior to your visit.
You can enroll in a 5 week course that takes place on Saturday 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM. $165.00 for the entire course (learn more)

open to the public for visitors every day from 10am – 4pm. The visitor yard features interactive displays, marine mammal artifacts, and our Treasure Trove gift shop. There is no charge for admission, but donations are appreciated!

Located just off Pacific coast highway in Newport Coast, the ocean club serves dinner only 7 days a week starting at 5pm. Enjoy delicious food, wine and live music nightly.

25. Wine taste in Silverado Canyon
Giracci Vinyards is conveniently located in the heart of Orange County, the Silverado locale transports you to another place and time. Sprawling vineyards, whitewashed fences, vintage historic buildings and barns, riding arenas, trails and streams with magnificent, mature old oak trees paint the landscape.

26. Enjoy a Farm to Table romantic meal
The Playground, in Santa Ana is new hip restaurant brought to you by the owners of “the lime truck’ They started with a small truck and expanded to the restaurant of their dreams bringing you the best farm to table dining experience. Food is only half the story at The Playground. They also plan be one of Orange County’s premier destination for craft beers and cocktails.
