kid-friendly nail salon
With multiple locations, 3 Thirty 3 Nail Bar is located in Brea, Costa Mesa and UCI Irvine. The newest addition is off 17th street in East side Costa Mesa and makes for the perfect birthday party or special mom and daughter date!
As a former nail artist..
As a former nail artist, and veteran for almost 15 years in the industry I like to consider myself a pretty good critic. The first thing I noticed was that it is very well laid out and aesthetically pleasing. For kids, it’s a dream come true with hundred of polishes to choose from, comfortable pink chairs and gorgeous feminine decor.
Once you get past the decor, I look for cleanliness. They had pre packaged tools, new files and new buffers for each client which I love. they also had a plastic bag inside the pedicure basins which keeps the basin sanitary and eliminates the filth that runs through spa jets. Last but not least is the quality of work they perform. And since, I have not personally had my nails done I cannot comment on the skill level. I did notice my daughters pedicure was polished and shaped good. Her manicure was slightly disappointing since they left dirt under the nails that you could see through the pink polish. However, all in all it was a fantastic experience and from a child’s perspective it was a 10 out of 10.
Hosting a birthday party?
If you are considering hosting a birthday here, you can reserve the entire space for your private event for 2 hours. You can have about 10-15 guests for manicure and pedicure services. The girls take turns rotating in the 6 pink lounge chairs. Arrive early to set up fresh flowers, drinks at the bar counter and your dessert and goodie bags. It’s not a great place for food so plan to come here for nails and dessert only.
